If you’ve known me and/or my husband for more than a few minutes, you would probably know that we both love pizza. Our neighbours used to joke with us about the amount of pizza boxes they would see in our recycle bin on the weekly (seriously, it was becoming a problem…) because it was both delicious and easy! Who doesn’t love a hassle-free, no-cook dinner when you’re always on the go?!
So when I found out that Panago Pizza was opening a new location in Mississauga, I had to check it out. Panago is different than your typical pizza joint as it offers customizable, create-your-own pizza to cater to variety of dietary needs (veggie, vegan, gluten smart crust). Plus, they give healthy alternatives such as fresh salads and organic juices. Dave (my husband) is currently participating in a challenge at his gym for both working out and eating healthy. Needless to say, this was a bit of a splurge (since the diet is fairly restrictive), however he was still able to enjoy the meal without that instant regret following a super greasy burger and fries.
We decided to try a little bit of everything so that we could realllllly get a sense for what Panago is all about (excuses, excuses…) So here is what we tried:
- Pepperoni Classic (hand-tossed crust)
- Veggie Mediterranean (thin crust)
- Fire-Grilled Wings (hot + spicy)
- Garden Salad with Grilled Chicken
- Grapple & Lemonade Organic Juices
- Chocolate Chunk Pretzel Cookie
Final conclusion? DELICIOUS!!!
Panago is looking to share the pizza love in their new community with #RandomActsOfPizza. Yes my friend, that means that you could WIN FREE PIZZA!!! Who doesn’t want free pizza? If you’re going to say no, don’t even bother answering.. I don’t want to hear it! 😉 SO – if you know of any inspiring and deserving pizza lover(s) in Mississauga, nominate them by commenting on this blog post with their name and why they deserve to win free pizza! You can also enter via this photo on Instagram by tagging @panago_pizza & #RandomActsOfPizza for a chance to win fresh pizza for the both of you. Can someone say “PIZZA PARTY?” *insert cheers here*
