Since I’m always trying new beauty products (skincare, makeup, shower products, etc.) I thought I would show you what I’m currently using daily or weekly, and why I love these specific items. Although most of these items were sent to me as gifts from brands and/or PR companies, this post isn’t sponsored and reflects my genuine opinion on these products. So I hope it is insightful for you! If you have any other specific questions on anything I’m discussing below, please feel free to leave a comment and I will be sure to answer! 🙂

EG Skincare

A while back I attended a live taping at TSC for Elizabeth Grant skincare. Along with that I received some EG products, and I have become pretty attached to some of them. I know my Mom is really loving it too, as I gave her a few of the anti-aging products and she just recently was raving about how much she loves the neck cream! Although I am using more than just these specific products from EG, I wanted to highlight this serum, face cream, and eye cream because they are products I use daily. Outside of the fact that I actually see results already using these products, they also feel great going on and never leave my face feeling sticky or weighed down. EG uses Torricelumn – a medical ingredient – in every product that they produce as it has been proven to help dramatically with wrinkles, scars, blemishes, etc. I’m glad to be starting so young and hopefully I will look 28 forever haha 😉

Another product which I received via an event, Dermablend foundation and liquid highlighters have become a staple in my makeup bag. The Flawless Creator foundation goes on so light but provides great coverage, and the pressed powder foundation is also incredible! I use them both interchangeably. The Glow Creator liquid highlighter is really nice because it comes in 2 different options: pearl or bronze. I like the bronze because it is a more subtle shimmer that you can easily apply to your whole face without appearing like a lightbulb (lol) but the pearl is really pretty for that specific contoured look. Also, I feel like they are going to last me for a LONG time because you don’t need very much to get the desired effect! Lastly is the Quick Fix concealer stick which (you guessed it!) I like using under my eyes because it has really great coverage without needing a lot of product or looking cakey.

Kiss NY Pro

I was so excited to try this Dead Sexy Liner from Kiss because I have only ever found one other liquid liner that I love – so it’s always nice to have multiple in the arsenal! The nice thing about this one is that the felt-tip marker gives you the ability to do a very thin line or a thick one quick easily depending on your look. Also it is under $10, so you really can’t go wrong!

I recently received a GIANT box of goodies from Maybelline, so I haven’t had a chance to try them all yet, but these are 3 things that I really like so far: TattooStudio Brow Gel is the first and most loved of the three I’m going to talk about. This product quickly climbed to the top of my brow-products list because it is SO ridiculously easy to apply and lasts so long! The first night after I used it, I wiped my makeup off and only lightly wiped my brows and nothing came off. I didn’t have to reapply the next day, either! I think this will be a really great product especially in the summer when I am going swimming, as I won’t have to worry about half my brows washing off 😉 Next are these two lip products: SuperStay Matte Ink lipstick and Vivid Hot gloss. The Matte Ink is really similar to LipSense (if you’ve heard of that) meaning that it takes a LOT of effort to get it off. Which is great if you’re going to dinner/drinks, etc. and don’t want to have to worry about reapplying your lipstick all evening. I will suggest not to use this product on dry/chapped lips, otherwise it does crack and not look great. The Vivid Hot is gorgeous because it has a really pigmented colour but gives you the current glossy-lip trend (and you don’t have to worry if you have dry lips for this one)!

We all know how much I love my nail polish, and Essie spoils me on the regular. These three colours are from the new Spring lineup (coming soon!), and I am surprised at how much I am loving the seafoam green colour especially (called Bon Boy-age) because it is not something I would normally gravitate to. The darker blue/green featured here is called Stripes & Sails, and the pink is called Perfect Mate.

This Defining Gel Spray was introduced to me recently by my hairdresser in Windsor who used it when she styled my hair after my last appointment. I knew I wanted it because it didn’t leave my hair feeling like there was any product in it at all, but gave it enough hold for that messy straight-wave look that I am loving right now. I wanted to include it here because although I haven’t tried other spray gels to compare it to, I really like the feel, smell, and hold of this product and I think you will too!

So there you have it! My current faves in the beautysphere. Do you have anything that you’re loving right now? I’m always looking for new recommendations of fun products to try & review! Let me know in the comments below <3

Nice information shared!! Before going to bed, I always make sure that my skin is nice and clean.Wash off dirt, which might be invisible, and use I prefer to use a gentle cleanser on my face. Our skin will ‘repair’ itself overnight, and does that best when clean.

Such a great spring line-up love! SO many goodies. I have my eye on the Dermablend foundation. Heard so many great reviews and I am happy to hear you loved it. Do you know if it’s non-comedogenic and safe for sensitive skin?

Sweet as Fiction xo

The Dermablend foundation is SO nice, I definitely recommend it. It is safe for all skin types, however I am not sure about the non-comedogenic (I’ve never heard of this actually!) so I would have to check into it!
