It is finally starting to warm up here in Toronto, and I am all but jumping for joy at the prospect of winter finally being over! Last week was still a bit chilly, and perfect for connecting over hot chocolates and delicious menu items at Caca0 70 in Toronto’s Distillery District. Myself, Gunjan of @songbirdechoes, and Samantha of @mystyyle are all local Toronto bloggers who thought it would be a great idea to connect face-to-face about our passion for blogging and fashion!

It was such a great opportunity to hear what these ladies are up to (past, present, and future) in terms of their blogs and dreams, and so encouraging and inspiring to me to see where they have come from and where they are going! Seriously, check out their blogs and Instagram accounts, linked on their names above! They both have such beautiful fashion – each unique to their own personality – and I love how they stay true to that.

If you are a blogger and you haven’t connected in with anyone else from your local blogging community, I can’t encourage you enough to reach out and start building relationships with other bloggers! Not only is it an opportunity to meet new people and make new friends, but to get support, advice, and collaborate with other like-minded people. So a big thanks to Gunjan and Sam for doing that for me. I hope I can connect with more of you Toronto bloggers out there… I’m feeling like they may be some Toronto connection events on the horizon! 😉

Now it’s very important that I express how absolutely phenomenal Cacao 70 is. There are several locations – in fact, they just opened a brand new location in Toronto at 485 Queen Street West – so I highly recommend that you check it out! The Distillery District location has a fairly large cafe with lots of tables near windows (which is great for photos of course!), and the staff there was absolutely fantastic. Our server, Ian, was particularly helpful and was able to recommend some of their most popular dishes. As you can see from the photos, we opted for all things chocolate! But I must admit, toasting my own marshmallows over a tabletop grill inside of a restaurant definitely topped it off for me! I am a sucker for toasted marshmallows. The 3-chocolate fondue was another favourite… Chocolate-covered everything… *drool*

We devoured everything that was put before us – so thank you, Cacao 70, all that is lacking is a designated staff member to roll your guests out after they are done!
